根岸フミエ
１９９７年インド旅行中、リシケシュにおいて、インド音楽に出会う。
２００５年から、北インド古典声楽家Dr.Prabha Atreに声楽を師事、本格的に北インド古典声楽を学び始める。
日本滞在中は、数年間、バーンスリー奏者寺原太郎氏からも、インド音楽についての手ほどきを受ける。
２０１５年からICCR、インド文化関係評議会からの奨学金を取得、Dr. Prabha Atreの主催するSwaramayee Gurukulに在籍、師のもとで学ぶ。
現在、インド、マハーラーシュトラ州のムンバイー、プネー両都市に滞在。
Fumie Negishi
Fumie’s first visit in India was in 1997, and met Indian Classical Music in Rishikesh.
Since 2005, she has been learning Hindustani Classical Vocal Music under the guidance of the esteemed Padmabhushan Ganprabha Dr. Prabha Atre in Kirana Gharana in Mumbai, and visiting her every year for a few month.
Besides visiting Dr. Prabhaji Atre, she also has been receiving some guidance about Indian music from a Japanese bansuri player, Taro Terahara while she was in Japan for a few years.
Since 2015, Fumie has been awarded ICCR scholarship for receiving more serious taaleem under the watchful guidance of Dr. Prabha Atre in Mumbai and Pune.
